I want to be clear...I value and appreciate my white friends. They, like all of my friends, and myself are not perfect. To assume that I think so little of them just because I want and encourage them to be a bit more enlightened does not mean I think little of them. It is just like many of my friends of color say and beleive things about the LGBTQ+ community or faith tradtions outside of Christianity. It is aboout learning how to live in a multiracial, multicultural society. I approach it with cultural humility.
